Project Scope
Linkin.bio is a mini web page built into your Instagram and TikTok profiles — making your content clickable and shoppable. Create your page, drop the link in your bio, and help followers discover more about you, your products, and your brand.
Contributions
- Help define project scope with Project Manager
- Competitor/User research and testing
- Impact/Effort matrix creation
- UX: Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and define interactions
- UI: Creating high-fidelity Mock ups

Design Rationale
- Small businesses are our target users due to the high demand for a free mini website builder tool. Small business owners are not tech save and prefer something simple
- The goal for Later users is to add any Instagram posts to Linkin.bio in a single place. Using the phone to display all Instagram posts is to visually represent this action. Approaching the UI in a “WYSIWYG” way. The Phone on the left displays the Linkin.bio preview and the page settings to the right.
- This layout was chosen to allow the user to always preview the changes they make in the management section.
- We want this process to be more than just fun and visually appealing. It should also increase the Linkin.bio’s URL Share volume, and direct users to Later’s other products during their first visit.
- Enterprises can expect a smooth onboarding process led by our dedicated Business Development Representatives, ensuring comprehensive support.
- Creators will be directed towards the One Creator Experience, which caters to their unique needs and preferences.
- Social Media Managers will find assistance in our Later Scheduling feature, designed to simplify their content organization and planning tasks.
Using a “Jobs to be Done” framework, we aim to align the onboarding process with each user’s specific needs, creating an engaging, user-centered experience. With this redefinition, Linkin.bio site creation becomes more than just a task – it becomes an exciting and effortless journey, heightening user engagement and satisfaction right from the start.
